Recently, we hosted 17 of our friends at The June and toured them around The County on an epic beer crawl, in a school bus no less. Here are the highlights. If you're coming with a group and want us to recreate this tour or something similar, send us an email!
Rocking the "Drink Local Beer" tees and tanks, created by Brass Dog Bear. Available in the gift shop at The June!
Keeping it classy, boarding the ol' yellow school bus with refreshments in hand.
Stop #1: Hinterland & County Road Beer where a mix of beer, bubbly and many chips and dip were consumed in the sunshine. The Cherry Gose was a big hit!
Having already worked up an appetite, we head into Wellington towards our next stop.
Stop #2: Midtown Brewery for samples of beer, a tour and lunch. This place is absolutely amazing with a menu of local beer from all over The County. Bonus points for having my favourite cocktail on their menu... the Aperol Spritz!
Wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round... get the point?
Stop #3: We arrive at Prince Eddy's. We describe these guys as our brewery soulmate with their palm print pillows and California surfer vibes. A little ping pong was played over flights of beer.
Hop, skip and a jump over to our final stop!
Stop #4: Parsons Brewing Company. Beer and wine are both options at our final stop. Some stepped up their beer game while others indulged in glasses of Norman Hardie Chardonnay. We all sat at an enormous harvest table on the patio, and got treated to what felt like a 10 course family style meal.....ceviche, guacamole, tacos, more tacos, fried bologna sandwich and southern fried chicken. The fried bologna sandwich was such a hit we ordered a second round!
That's a wrap. Hit us up over email if you want our help planning an epic beer or wine crawl for your and your squad!
