Our favourite shopping in The County

What's vacation without a little shopping? The County is a hub for unique boutique shops and contemporary retail stores— from organic body and skincare to refined bohemian jewelry to hand painted pots and exotic plants. Before heading out to the wineries for the day, check out these stellar spots...and bring your wallet!

Reason #1 why we love this clothing boutique: the owner’s puppy hangs out with you while you shop! Just kidding, but that’s definitely still reason #2. We love this boutique and its huge variety of high end and luxury brands like Free People and Spiritual Gangster. If you’re not into browsing through the trendy racks, then make yourself comfortable with a freshly brewed cappuccino in the lounge area. Plus, there’s always a great sale section for the smart shopper!

Sunday’s Company

One step into this holistic skincare company and you’ll be hooked. The whole place smells like lavender and pure joy. The plant based formulas have a secret ingredient: a dose of love in every product. Each item is home grown, slow made and sustainable— not to mention ultra calming and relaxing. Think rejuvenating face and body oil, hydrating lip salves and exfoliating pink Himalayan salt scrubs. Hint: the June’s got an exclusive scent for soap and body oil.

Kelly's Shop

Across the street from Sunday's Company, you'll find Kelly's Shop. This tiny shop might be small, but it's full of character and personality! Kelly's is an institution in Picton, and has been a staple on Main Street for years. You'll find everything from colourful knick-knacks and gifts to the perfect statement outfit for a night out.

Blu Boho

This Toronto-based boutique jewellery company is doing everything right. From the beautiful and inviting space to the lovely ladies running the summer outpost on the main street in Bloomfield, you’re guaranteed to leave with a positive memory…and maybe a new piece to add to your collection. What makes Blu Boho special is the intention behind every carefully crafted design. Whether you’re celebrating a life milestone or looking for inspiration to liven your days, at least one of these symbolic pieces will resonate with you.

County Collective

Community is such a big part of the Price Edward County entrepreneurial spirit, and the boss lady behind this shop is the first to get behind all innovators and go-getters. The small boutique is filled with eclectic home decor, wellness-related personal accessories and all around funky gifts. They’ve got local art on display and sell County memorabilia— perfect for souvenirs and keepsakes!

Fête Beach

You know Ralph Waldo Emerson’s famous quote? About living in sunshine, swimming in the sea and drinking the wild air? Well, our ultimate dream is to do all three of those things while clothed in a pastel Italian Linen tunic from Fête Beach. This luxury resort wear boutique is inspired by the extraordinary family behind La Bottega Di Brunella clothing in Venice, Italy. Every piece is impeccably designed and hand sewn with the finest textile fibres in the industry. More importantly, these beautiful pieces are representative of the elegant freedom that lies within each individual’s unique style. Empowering much?

KC’s Closet

This chic new shop behind Flame & Smith is perfect for the girl on the go. It’s got all bases covered with your favourite little black dresses, floral rompers and cozy tees. Most of the bohemian brands offered here can’t be found in local stores or big malls, so when you get home from your Prince Edward County beach getaway you can proudly show off that exclusive new kimono you got from the budding boutique in The County.

Dead People’s Stuff

Need I say more? The name’s all part of the fun that comes with antiquing. Arguably the most popular antique shop in the County, this spot is known for it’s hidden treasures, great photo ops and interesting stories. If you’re in the market for retro decor and rustic furniture then you don’t want to miss out on this spot. They also specialize in beautiful refurbished tools and hardware…so there’s something for everyone here!

Oak Clothing Co.

Calling all cool kids! Between the high-end brands, cozy streetwear and boho summer essentials, it’s hard to walk out of this one empty handed. We’re talking old school vibes with a classic twist. For women: casual vans and a fitted wrap dress. For men: patterned button-downs and slim fit khakis. That’s right, Oak Clothing Co. is the only unisex, uber stylish retail stores in the County. Bonus: they’ve officially started to launch their fall collection and we’re crushing hard on the racks stacked with Patagonia fleece. Doesn’t everyone deserve an end of summer present?

Parlour Studio

By now you’ve probably guessed that at The June, we’re really into design. And though we never considered ourselves to be green thumbs, we’ve learned a thing or two about transforming a space with tropical touches and urban edges…thanks to the masterful Jessica Acs over at Parlour Studio. This botanical boutique sells exotic plants and pottery of all shapes, sizes and colour. Because this is truly a shop after our own hearts, the shelves are also full of holistic body products, all natural candles and funky stationary. Our favourite new additions are the healing rocks and gemstones. because you can never have too many good vibes in one space.
